I developed SIDEWAYS as an original music-and-art festival concept for Bandung. The identity explores how sound moves between people and spaces.

The challenge
The system needed enough personality for a festival poster and enough discipline for lineup information, wristbands and venue graphics. I wanted the name to carry recognition even without a photograph.
The idea
“Sound bends” connects a curved typographic baseline with a ribbon of parallel lines. The title seems to lean into the music; the ribbon moves through the composition, guiding the eye between information groups.
